PITTSFIELD — The Pittsfield Public Library’s art show, featuring top-notch artwork created by student-artists at Warsaw Middle School and Maine Central Institute, is on display Monday, Feb. 23, through Monday, March 9. A variety of subjects and media will be represented from self portraits on scratchboard to imaginative acrylic paintings on canvas, according to a news release from the library. An opening will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25. This opening hour will provide an opportunity for the public to meet and interact with the student-artists and learn more about their work and experiences.
