A Fryeburg man is free on bail following his arrest Monday on charges of domestic violence.

Police were called to 187 North Fryeburg Road for a report of an armed man involved in a domestic violence incident, police said.

The alleged victim was injured as she escaped from a slow-moving car but the 25-year-old woman managed to get to a neighbor’s house to call for help, police said.

Police surrounded the house where the suspect was and after about 20 minutes coaxed Cam Robinson, 27, from the building. Inside, police found several guns.

The alleged victim was taken to Memorial Hospital in Conway to receive treatment for her injuries.

Robinson was taken to Stephen’s Memorial Hospital in Norway for a psychiatric evaluation then taken to Oxford County Jail. He is free on bail pending a March 10 court date.
