GARDINER — Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center. Water Street, will present Capital City Improv oat 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and $5 for children.

This improvisational comedy troupe uses audience suggestions to create a completely customized comedy show. Based in Augusta, the group has been making people laugh for more than two years with their quick witted, lightning-fast short-form improvisation. Their 80-minute shows utilize the audience and their suggestions to create something wonderful, right on the spot. This is a family-friendly show.

Capital City Improv was founded by well-known actor, producer and comedian Dennis Price and features local performers David Greenham and Liz Helitzer. Rounding out the group, from Ellsworth, are Jen Shepard and musical director, Larrance Fingerhut.
