Pineland Suzuki School’s 15th annual benefit concert “Bach and Deviations” will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at Messalonskee High School.

All Pineland Suzuki School students, from pre-twinkle beginners through advanced students participate in this performance, as well as the Pineland Fiddlers and Capital Strings, according to a news release from Pineland Suzuki School.

This concert will dedicate the proceeds towards broadening and expanding string education opportunities for families in the central Maine area. A reception will follow, with refreshments, chamber music and a silent auction.

The Pineland Suzuki School, now in its 20th year, teaches with the highly successful method of musical education developed by Dr. Shin’ichi Suzuki, according to the release. Tickets cost $10 in advance, $12 at the door; $5 for students and seniors; free for those younger than 6.
