The Theatre Arts Day Camp, which is held each summer in Litchfield and offered by qualified, trained instructors in the visual and performing arts, is now accepting applications for its 2015 season.

The camp this year will offer two, one-week sessions. Session one will run July 27-31 for children ages 7 through 11, and will offer activities in introductory acting techniques, basic movement and voice control, beginner stage make-up, as well as elementary production design.

Session two will run Aug. 3-7 for children ages 12 through 18, and will offer advanced acting techniques, improvisation, advanced stage make-up and special effects, and general stagecraft.

Enrollment in each session is limited to 20 participants and each session will have a culminating performance on the final Friday evening, according to a news release from the camp. The $175 fee includes course instruction and materials, personal make-up kit, tickets to a professional performance, guest artists, and daily healthy snacks.
