The 8th Earth Day Every Day! electronics recycling day is set for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at the parking lot adjacent to Farmington Aubuchon Hardware, U.S. Route 2. Property owner Jim Meader has made this location available for the past seven years.

Old South First Congregation, UCC of Farmington, has partnered with EPA approved e-Waste Recycling Solutions of Auburn for the event. Items accepted are: TVs, computers and laptops, monitors, printers, photocopiers, scanners, microwaves, DVD and VCR players, stereos, camcorders, fax machines, phones, gaming and other electronic devices. For a list of other electronics that will be accepted, visit ewastemaine.com. The event will be held rain or shine.

The drop off is not limited to Farmington residents. There is no set fee for the disposal service, however, free-will monetary donations will be accepted to support Old South Church’s community service and outreach programs. No early drop offs.
