BATH — Nathalie St. Pierre’s six goals helped Messalonskee outlast Morse 12-9 in a Class A girls lacrosse game Thursday.

Lydia Dexter finished with a hat trick for Messalonskee (2-0), Lauren Pickett added two goals and Ally Turner scored once. Sydni Collier made four saves in goal for the Eagles.

Maddy Olsen, Sophie and Nora Sreeden each had a pair of goals for Morse (0-1).

BRUNSWICK 12, CONY 7: Angelica Boyle scored five goals to lead the Dragons to the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Anna McMillan added two goals for Brunswick (1-2). Emaleigh Aschbrenner made 10 saves.

Becca Coniff led Cony (0-2) with four goals while Hillary Tyler chipped in two and Mary Kirschner had the other. Lizzy Dennison stopped 15 shots.

MT. ARARAT 12, GARDINER 8: Erin Tome poured in five goals as the Eagles picked up a KVAC win in Gardiner.

Alison Kowan and Rebecca Schemun each chipped in with a pair of goals for Mt. Ararat (2-0).

Katherine Wright and Kelsi Thibeau both scored twice for Gardiner (0-2).

COLLEGE BASEBALL

MAINE 18, LAFAYETTE 10: The Black Bears came from back twice from four or more runs down to earn the nono-conference win in Eaton, Pa.

Maine (17-22) set a school record for doubles with nine in the game. Luke Morrill and Kevin Stypulkowski each had two doubles while Sam Balzano, Brett Chappell, Brian Doran, Brenden Geary and Shane Bussey had one apiece. Jeff Gelinas earned the win, improving to 3-1 for the season.

Lafayette falls to 11-24-1.
