LIVERMORE FALLS — Logan Peacock homered and doubled as Gardiner emerged with a 9-7 win over Spruce Mountain in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B baseball action Friday.

The Tigers (4-1) cranked out 11 hits, led by Brad Weston’s three singles. Nic Berube, Josh Farrin and Sam Jermyn added two hits apiece.

Bradley Hodges and Noah Preble had two hits each for the Phoenix (2-3).

RICHMOND 8, BUCKFIELD 5: Zach Small struck out 11 in relief as Richmond pulled away from Buckfield in an East/West Confernce clash.

Matt Rines had three singles to lead the Bobcats (4-0), while Mike Stewart added two hits, including a double. Ethan Jackson had three hits to lead the Bucks (4-2).

KENTS HILL 3, GOULD 0: Riley Boivin pitched a no-hitter and also hit a two-run home run to lead the host Huskies in a game played Wednesday. Boivin struck out 10 and walked just one. He also hit a batter. He recorded eight ground ball outs and ended five of seven innings with a strikeout.

Boivin hit his homer in the fifth inning for Kents Hill (2-3).

SOFTBALL

DIRIGO 6, OAK HILL 3: The Raiders scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning on a single from Kylee Veilleux but could not complete the comeback in a Mountain Valley Conference loss in Wales.

Kaitlyn Morang and Brittany Greig each had a pair of singles for Dirigo (3-1). Oak Hill fell to 1-3 with the loss.

RICHMOND 7, BUCKFIELD 3: Meranda Martin earned the East/West Conference win, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out eight. Martin also added three singles to help her own cause.

Sydney Tilton hit a home run for Richmond (3-0) while Kalah Patterson and Emily Douin each tripled.

Buckfield falls to 3-1.

GARDINER 25, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 4: Julia Nadeau hit a double and a home run and the Tigers cruised to the KVAC B victory.

Lilly Chepke had a double, a triple and six RBIs to pace the Tigers (4-0). Mikayla Shaw drove in five runs and Bri Brochu went 4-for-4 with three RBI.

BOYS LACROSSE

MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 15, CAMDEN 6: Denver Cram had four goals and five assists to lead the Hawks at Kents Hill. The Hawks (3-1) led 4-0 after the first quarter and never looked back.

Ty Smith scored three goals and Bailey Clark added two goals and three assists. James Canwell also scored two goals.
