AUGUSTA — Kennebec Historical Society will host a book sale from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at 107 Winthrop St. More than 1,000 books drawn from a minister’s library and a church library’s discards will be available for purchase.
Topics include theology, philosophy, counseling, administration and children’s books, according to a news release from the society. Hard-cover books will cost $1 and paperbacks will cost 50 cents.
All books will be reduced to $1 a bag at 1 p.m.
