WATERVILLE — Unicorns are the theme at Waterville Public Library May 9-16. The following free events are planned, according to a news release:

• Unicorn craft day and parade are set for 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 9.

The parade will start at 2:30 p.m., directly after the crafts. Participants are welcome to attend in their best unicorn outfits.

• Unicorn sidewalk art is planned for 4-6 p.m. Monday, May 11.

Participants can help decorate the sidewalk outside the library.

• “Last Unicorn” book discussion group is planned for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 12.

Advance registration is encouraged, but not required, according to the release. Those who are a Waterville Public Library card holder, and would like to reserve a copy of the book through interlibrary loan, make request no later than May 4.

• Unicorn Craft Day will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 15.

• Unicorn Dance is set for 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 16.
