A Mapping Invasive Species Workshop is set for 4-6 Wednesday, May 20, at Maine Lakes Resource Center, 137 Main St,, Belgrade Lakes, according to a news release from the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.

iMapInvasives is a web-based mapping tool that can be used to map invasive species and keep track of treatment efforts. This tool was launched in Maine in 2014, and is already being used for invasive plant mapping projects across the state. The free workshop will be presented by the Maine Natural Areas Program. Invasive plant ID will also be covered.
