KNOX — Kersey Boulay scored on a fielder’s choice from Haley Reynolds in the bottom of the seventh as the Mount View softball team walked off on Medomak Valley with a 15-14 win in a slugfest at Larrabee Field on Friday.

Ryleigh Lord had four hits — including a home run — for Mount View (4-6), while Krysta Porter and Dinah Bilodeau both had a double and two singles.

Sophie Cohen had a double and two singles to pace Medomak Valley (4-6).

NOKOMIS 17, WATERVILLE 4, 5 innings: Austin Leighton had four hits, including a double and triple, along with 9 RBIs to lead the Warriors to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win over the Purple Panthers in Newport.

Mikayla Charters had two doubles for Nokomis (7-3), while Aren Herrick added a triple.

Rebecca Oakes, Michaela Devogt and Coby Dangler each had singles for Waterville (1-9).

MT. BLUE 8, HAMPDEN 0: Rachelle Bator homered and tripled in a shutout win over the Broncos.

Caitlin Kane picked up the win in the circle for Mt. Blue (4-6) while Lauren Guppy chipped in with a double.

Brooklynn Scott had a double for Hampden (2-8).

WINSLOW 9, MCI 7: Hayley Pottle homered, and the Black Raiders rapped out 12 hits to earn the KVAC B win in Pittsfield.

Kiana Richards doubled for Winslow (9-0). MCI is 0-10.

MOUNT ABRAM 1, ST. DOM’S 0: Katie Jordan gave up just two hits to pick up the win in the circle as the Roadrunners outlasted the Saints in Salem Township.

Mount Abram improved to 4-6 with the win, while St. Dom’s fell to 1-9.

ERSKINE 15, BELFAST 5: Emma Robertson drove in three runs as Erskine pulled away from Belfast in KVAC Class B softball action.

Robertson had doubled and singled and the Eagles (6-4) took advantage of 10 Belfast errors. Mallory Chamberlain scattered nine hits to pick up the win in the circle.

SKOWHEGAN 16, BRUNSWICK 0, 5 innings: Ashley Alward struck out 12 in four innings while walking one and allowing just a single hit in the Indians’ win over the Dragons in Brunswick.

Eliza Bedard had two hits, including a double, for Skowhegan (8-2), while Julia Steeves also doubles.

Brunswick well to 1-9 with the loss.

BASEBALL

MADISON 13, WISCASET 1, 5 innings: Tristan Emery and Briar Edgerly drove in three runs apiece as Madison defeated Wiscasset in an Mountain Valley Conference tilt.

Chase Malloy notched three hits and scored three runs for the Bulldogs (4-6), while Tristan Emery had a pair of hits. Ryan Emery went the distance, allowed three hits and fanned two to pick up the victory on the mound.

GIRLS LACROSSE

GOULD 17, ERSKINE 5: Michelle Lemelin scored four goals but it was not enough as the Eagles fell to the Huskies in South China.

Morgan Jeane also had a goal for Erskine (1-7) and Malorie Weaver made 11 saves.
