NOTE: Parade route corrected. HALLOWELL — Goodrich-Caldwell American Legion Post 6 will host a Memorial Day parade and ceremonies Monday, May 25.
The parade will form between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. in front of the American Legion Post Hall, Second Street. The leading elements will step off at 9:45 a.m. The route of march will be: South to Temple street, East to Water street, then North on Water Street to the City Cemetery, halting at the Civil War Monument, then reforming and marching to Legion Park at the North end of the cemetery for a service. A service at Hallowell Waterfront Park will complete the events.
