Sidney’s Memorial Day parade, celebration and picnic is set for Monday, May 25. The parade, led by a bagpiper, will begin at 10 a.m. at the Transfer Station, and proceed to Middle Road to the Town Office. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, veterans and the All American Dance School will participate. All are welcome to join.
In addition to a ceremony and wreath placed, the barbershopper quartet Maine Stream will sing. A cookout lunch also is planned.
Sidney Historical Society and the Grange will be open for visitors.
