A walk-athon is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Augusta Rail Trail, 353 Water St. Cost is $25 per person. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Proceeds will benefit medical needs, expenses for Amanda Burnham.
Other fundraisers planned:
• Amanda’s Second Wind Sponsor T-shirts. T-shirts have been designed to sell at benefits and fundraisers to show support for Burnham. Help is needed with the startup cost towards 200 T-shirts. In turn, a business name/number will go on the back of the T-shirt. Deadline is June 30.
• Bottles returned to Joka’s, 52 Front St., in Waterville. Be sure to designate proceeds to the Amanda Burnham Double Lung Transplant Fund.
• Send check or money order to KV Federal Credit Union, in care of Eilene Labonte, 316 West River Road, Augusta, ME 04330.
