Waterville’s Spectrum Generations Muskie Center welcomes veterans benefit officer Conrad Edwards, and Mary Nicholas, a local aging and disability resource counselor, to share new information on how the Affordable Care Act and Medicare benefits work together. A meeting is set for 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, June 9, at the center.

The Veterans Administration encourages all veterans to enroll into Medicare Part B (medical coverage) when they turn 65. The pair will also will discuss Money Savings Benefit Programs that can help pay for some of those costs.
