Rome Selectmen will host a light dessert gathering to recognize the town’s Spirit of America Award recipients at 6 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Rome Community Center. Lois Stratton and the Wooster Hill Home will be recognized, according to a news release from the town of Rome. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Questions can be directed to the selectmen.
Anyone who wishes to nominate a neighbor for his or her exceptional volunteerism can submit nominations to the Board of Selectmen.
