Readfield residents face important choices on June 9 as we fill two openings on the Select Board. Our votes will determine if our town continues down the current path of divisiveness or if we will restore our sense of community.
I will vote for Bruce Bourgoine. During many years in town, he has served the town in several capacities including school board member and library trustee. Through these activities, he has demonstrated an ability to listen attentively to the concerns of residents, weigh opposing viewpoints, and make decisions that balance the interests of all residents. Furthermore, as a small business owner, Bruce is keenly aware of the need to maintain services while keeping costs manageable. As a Select Board member, Bruce will strive for transparency and inclusiveness, while maintaining an open dialogue on issues facing our town. I urge other residents to support Bruce Bourgoine.
