WHITEFIELD — An open house and Farming Appreciation Day celebration is planned in observance of Arlington Grange’s 100 years of community service and fellowship. Events are set for 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at the Grange on Grand Army Hill.

Local farmers and organizations will share their products, information and conduct demonstrations. Flintlock Forge and Jeff Miller will demonstrate blacksmithing. Also in attendance will be representatives from Sheepscot General, Narrow Gauge Farm, Crooked Door Farm, Thirty Acre Farm, Tim’s Sugar Shack, Hidden Valley Farm, Treble Ridge Farm, Whitefield Trails, MOFGA, Sheepscot Valley Conservation Association, Whitefield Historical Society, and more. Grange tours will be conducted and free refreshments will be served. There also will be a white elephant table in support of the Grange, according to the release from Debbie Rogers.
