SIDNEY — A Winslow man was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after his motorcycle was hit by a sport-utility vehicle.
Police said the SUV driver, Brenda Beaulieu, 52, of Sidney, was making a turn on West River Road, which is Route 104, and hit the motorcycle driven by Liam O’Brien, 40, around 11 a.m., police said.
Beaulieu missed a turn and was making a turn into a driveway when her 2010 Chevy Equinox hit O’Brien, said state police Trooper Jesse Duda.
O’Brien was taken to Inland Hospital in Waterville for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening and possibly included broken bones.
Beaulieu, who was uninjured, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield right of way.
