MANCHESTER, N.H. – U.S. marshals have taken into custody a Maine fugitive charged in connection with a home invasion this year.
Authorities say 31-year-old Miguel Caprio was arrested in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Wednesday – the same day he was named “Fugitive of the Week.”
Marshals say he has multiple warrants out of Maine on charges of robbery, residential robbery with a gun, burglary and criminal restraint related to a home invasion in Waldoboro..
Authorities say he was arrested without incident in an apartment on Townhouse Road in Manchester, after investigators received several leads based on the “Fugitive of the Week” feature.
Marshals said the ongoing investigation pointed to Manchester as Carpio’s likely location.
Carpio will be held at the Hillsborough County Jail pending his initial court appearance and return to Maine.
