PALERMO — The Palermo Community Library will present its third annual Fairy Container Garden Workshop from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 24.

Students from Palermo and the surrounding communities can attend with an adult, according to a news release from the library. Using their imagination, participants can create fairy container gardens with items typically discarded. Please bring old pots, knick knacks, broken dishes, boots, shoes and small flowers to share and trade. The library will provide small plants, pots and soil. The container garden will be on display in and outside the library throughout the summer.

The Palermo Community Library offers Kindles, books, large print books, audio books, Inter-library loan, DVDs, VHS tapes, Wi-Fi, patron computers, printing, faxing, and ancestrylibrary.com. There is also a community room with a large screen TV available for meetings and presentations.

The library is an all-volunteer library. To volunteer, call 993-6088.
