Five men were arrested Sunday in Portland for propositioning an undercover police officer for sex acts in exchange for money.
The Portland Police Department conducted an undercover prostitution sting on Congress Street in downtown Portland during the evening hours.
Five adult men were arrested after propositioning an undercover female officer.
Benjamin P. Kuku Kodi, 35, of Portland; Christian Tshishimbi Kabeya, 29, of Portland; Pedro G. Gutierrez, 48, of Portland; Jean Marie Nkaka, 46, of Portland; and Angel Poblano, 26, of Portland were arrested. A juvenile male was also arrested but his name was not released because of his age.
The men were taken to Cumberland County Jail.
