The parish hall at St. Giles Episcopal Church in Jefferson will be transformed into a café and bookstore on Saturday, Aug. 15, with a variety of books for every reading taste, as well as coffee, tea and fruit drinks, plus pastries and sweets available throughout the day.

Books in 30 or so subject categories will be offered: fiction, of course, plus art, biography and autobiography, religion, poetry, philosophy, history, psychology, mysteries, cooking, children’s literature, gardening, nature, and others — even gossip.

The hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The parishioners of St. Giles invite all to come and enjoy this new café-bookstore experience.

St. Giles is at 72 Gardiner Road (Route 126), 1-quarter mile west of the junction of 126 and Route 213 (Bunker Hill Road).
