Central Maine’s Fibromyalgia Support Group, a new group, will start meeting on the second Wednesday of each month beginning Sept. 9 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at MaineGeneral Medical Center Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.
Those who attend can work through the hardships faced daily, learn ways to maximize their quality of life, reduce isolation and restore hope. This is a structured meeting with monthly topics chosen by members followed by an open discussion. Meetings are free and open to the public.
