GARDINER — Winter Street Raceway, formally R. C. Kids Club, will start Saturday, Aug. 15, at the church at 32 Winter St. It will meet from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the first and third Saturday of each month, at no cost to the participant.
The best 4×4 RC Trucks are used which are not toys but are hobby grade and are very quick and responsive. Kids enjoy themselves in a safe environment. Background checks have been conducted on all staff working with kids. Boys and girls ages 7-17 are welcome to attend. The program includes two hours of racing, 15 minute discussion of young life and issues confronting kids today. Pizza lunch and prizes provided.
