The Rome excise tax collector’s office will be closed from Aug. 16 to 23, which means residents will not be able to register vehicles during that period.
The office will close at 11:30 a.m. Saturday and reopen at 2 p.m. Aug. 24, according to information released by Selectman Richard LaBelle.
