CLINTON —The Clinton Lions Club Agricultural Fair seeks participants for its exhibition hall. Vegetables, plants, market baskets, arts and crafts, photographs, paintings, cooking and canning exhibits are needes; cash premiums and ribbons will be awarded.

The club also seeks entrants for the 62nd annual street parade set for Saturday, Sept. 12, in downtown Clinton.

The 2015 theme is “Autumn Harvest in Maine.” Cash awards and trophies are awarded for the top eight floats. Any marching unit, float or vehicle is welcome. To enter, call 859-0737.

The fair runs from Thursday, Sept. 10, through Sunday, Sept. 13. Admission cost $5 per person with free parking, children younger than 12 are admitted for free. A carload cost $14 maximum. Senior Citizen Day, for those 62 and older, is Friday, Sept. 11, with $3 admission or $7 carload gate fee plus $1 off a meal in the Lions Diner.
