OAKLAND — Ryan McCarthy, Nate Violette and Tommy Fortin each scored a goal to lift the Messalonskee boys soccer team to a 3-0 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win over Lawrence on Thursday.

Dan Turner and Keenan Estes added an assist apiece for the Eagles (2-0-1). Dylan Jones made two saves.

Max Marin stopped 17 shots for the Bulldogs (0-3-0).

GIRLS SOCCER

MESSALONSKEE 5, LAWRENCE 1: McKenna Brodeur scored twice to lead Messalonskee to victory over KVAC rival Lawrence.

Fern Calkins added a goal and an assist for the Eagles (3-0), while Caitlin Parks and Ella Moore also found the back of the net. Taylor Easler made eight saves in goal. Hannah Walsh scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs (1-2), with the assist from Kiana Letourneau. Kayla Spencer made 12 saves in net.

FIELD HOCKEY

WINSLOW 7, LINCOLN 0: Cassidy Rickard scored two goals and had two assists to lead the Black Raiders to a win over the Eagles in Winslow.

Hayley Ryder had two goals, while Madison Roy, Bailey Robbins and Miranda Gagne each added a goal for Winslow (3-1).

Zoey Sewall had 11 saves for Lincoln (0-4).

LAWRENCE 6, MARANACOOK 0: Hallee Parlin scored two goals to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC B win in Readfield.

Alexis Chamberlain added a goal and an assist for Lawrence (4-0). Domi Lewis, MaKenna Rogers and Lauren Watson added a goal apiece.

Kaitlyn Mason made 22 saves for Maranacook (1-3).

MOUNT VIEW 3, ERSKINE 2, OT: Megan Mikel scored with 49 seconds left in the first overtime as Mount View edged Erskine.

Reanna Boulay scored two goals for Mount View (2-2). Michelle Lemelin had both goals to help Erskine (0-4) rally from a 2-0 halftime deficit.

MCI 1, LEAVITT 0, OT: Victoria Friend scored 1:39 into the first overtime as MCI defeated Leavitt in a KVAC contest.

Mikayla Carr stopped 13 shots to secure the shutout for MCI (4-0). Hailey DeMascio made five saves for Leavitt (3-1).
