11:06 a.m., a 39-year-old Augusta woman was charged with having a habitually truant student by police responding to a report of a juvenile offense on Pierce Drive.

11:41 a.m., suspicious activity was reported on Northern Avenue.

12:40 p.m., police recovered property on Gage Street.

12:58 p.m., there was a traffic complaint on Civic Center Drive.

1:12 p.m., there was a complaint about trespassing on Water Street.

1:13 p.m., one person was taken to the hospital after a crash at the intersection of Gage and Swan streets.

1:28 p.m., firefighters responded to an alarm on Water Street.

1:35 p.m., there was a crash on Stone Street.

1:47 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Boothby Street.

1:57 p.m., there was an accident on Civic Center Drive.

2:45 p.m., police recovered property on Community Drive.

3:15 p.m., a crash involved an Augusta police cruiser and another vehicle at the intersection of Route 3 and West River Road. Deputy Chief Jared Mills said Officer Benjamin Murtiff was responding to a report of a person experiencing a mental health problem. Murtiff, who had activated his cruiser’s lights and sirens, entered the intersection and was struck by a vehicle on Route 3. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported. State police are investigating the crash, which is Augusta’s standard procedure for a crash involving one of its cruisers.

4:29 p.m., there was an accident on Enterprise Drive.

4:53 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Riverside Drive.

5:01 p.m., there was an accident on Western Avenue.

5:05 p.m., there was a crash at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Route 3.

5:19 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Civic Center Drive.

6:21 p.m., theft was reported on Patterson Street.

6:33 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Bolton Hill Road.

6:36 p.m., there was a traffic complaint on Stone Street.

6:52 p.m., there was an accident at the intersection of Gage Street and Memorial Drive.

7:36 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on South Chestnut Street.

7:45 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Worcester Street.

8:15 p.m., there was a complaint about trespassing on Bangor Street.

Wednesday at 8:59 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on South Chestnut Street.

Tuesday at 10:10 a.m., there was a report of a bad check on Water Street.

Wednesday at 7:52 a.m., a car hit a deer on Cross Hill Road.

WINDSOR

Tuesday at 7:02 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Stone Hedge Lane.

WINTHROP

Tuesday at 9:35 a.m., there was a report of a burglary on U.S. Route 202.

1:38 p.m., a traffic offense was reported on Route 133.

2:46 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on High Street.

3:31 p.m., there was a report of a weapon offense on Butters Hill Terrace.

ARRESTS

AUGUSTA

Tuesday at 8:49 p.m., Zachary Ryan Magee, 24, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence by police responding to a traffic complaint on Mount Vernon Avenue.

11:03 p.m., Joseph Anthony Oliveira, 26, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of operating after suspension and violating conditions of release by police responding to a traffic complaint on Orchard Street.
