ALNA — A fall festival to celebrate Sheepscot Valley’s narrow-gauge railroading history at the Wiscasset, Waterville, & Farmington Railway Museum is planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26.

Trains will depart from Sheepscot Station in Alna from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Special events will include steam-train rides, Model AA truck rides, Model T rail-car rides, hand-car rides, children’s games, pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, bluegrass music plus more, and light refreshments, according to a news release from the museum.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and members, $4 for children younger than 12 and free for children younger than 3.

Special events remaining at the museum in 2015 are the annual work weekend Friday, Oct. 9, through Monday, Oct. 12, and the Victorian Christmas Celebration Saturday, Dec. 19.
