SEARSPORT — Nick Adams scored with 7:30 left in regulation to snap a 1-1 game and lift the Richmond boys soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Searsport on Friday afternoon.

Brendan Emmons assisted on the goal. Nate Kendrick also scored for Richmond.

Dean Evans scored in the first half to give Searsport a 1-0 lead at the half. Ben Powell had 13 saves for Searsport while Zach Small had six for Richmond (5-1-0).

ERSKINE 10, BELFAST 1: Luke Peabody and Raymond Weymouth each had three goals to lift the Eagles to the Kennebec Valley athletic Conference Class B win in South China.

Josh Reed, Trevor Hubbard, Michael Sprague and Andrew Browne also had a goal each for Erskine (5-3-0). Dakota McGraw made one save.

Soren Moesswilde had the goal for Belfast (0-7-0). Andrew Cross stopped 10 shots.

MARANACOOK 4, GARDINER 1: Paul Martha had a goal and an assist to lift the Black Bears to the KVAC B win in Gardiner.

Max McQuillen, Hayden Elwell and Zack Godbout also scored for Maranacook (7-0-0). Justin Freeman made one save.

Peter Del Gallo scored for Gardiner (3-3-1). Kenneth Moore stopped 11 shots.

BREWER 2, MESSALONSKEE 0: Nick Charalanbous and Matt Pushard each scored to lift the host Witches to the KVAC A win.

Jonathan Wood stopped 10 shots for Brewer (2-4-2).

Dylan Jones made six saves for Messalonskee (3-4-1).

GIRLS SOCCER

ERSKINE 4, BELFAST 1: Abby Haskell and Kaylee Porter each had a pair of goals as the Eagles soared past the Lions in a KVAC B game in Belfast.

Michaela Sprague had two assists for Erskine (5-2-1) while Emma McCormac chipped in with one as well.

Lydia Violette scored the lone Belfast (0-7-0) goal on an assist from Leah Taylor.

MADISON 2, OAK HILL 1: Madeline Wood scored both goals, including the game-winner with 3:41 remaining, to lift the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Madison.

Whitney Bess added an assist for Madison while Erin Whalen made six saves.

Jamie Prue scored a goal off an assist from Haley Lair for Oak Hill. Cassidy Tibbetts stopped 15 shots.

WINTHROP 1, DIRIGO 0: With 20 minutes remaining in the game, Sierra Huff scored to spark the host Ramblers to the MVC win.

Chloe Armillotte assisted on the goal. Shie Smith made 22 saves for Winthrop.

Mariah Lefleur stopped eight shots for Dirigo.

RICHMOND 4, SEARSPORT 0: Autumn Acord scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Bobcats in Searsport.

Meranda Martin added a goal and an assist for Richmond (6-1-0) while Emily Snowden had the other goal. Sydney Tilton made three saves.

Melinda Ogden stopped 10 shots for Searsport.

FIELD HOCKEY

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2, HALL-DALE 0: Chelsea Allison and Marissa Crosby each scored an unassisted goal to lead the Falcons (6-3) to the MVC win in Rumford.

Kaylee Magee made 12 saves for the Bulldogs (0-9).

WINTHROP 1, TELSTAR 0: Emily Molino scored off an assist from Katie Perkins with 22 minutes left in the game to give the host Ramblers the MVC win.

Corinna Coulton made two saves for Winthrop (6-3).

Blair Stevens stopped seven shots for Telstar (2-7).
