MONMOUTH — Avery Pomerleau had a goal and two assists to spark Monmouth past St. Dominic 4-1 in Mountain Valley Conference boys soccer action Thursday.

Mat Foulke, Shane Kenniston and Gage Cote also scored for Monmouth (8-1-0). Bradley Neal made six saves.

Austin Roy had the goal for the Saints (5-2-1). Gavin Bates and Alex Michaud combined to make seven saves.

FIELD HOCKEY

WINTHROP 0, ST. DOMINIC 0: Winthrop and St. Dominic went into Thursday’s MVC clash with the same records and left with that still the case after battling to a defensive draw in Winthrop.

Corinna Coulton made eight saves in goal for the Ramblers (6-3-1), matched by Saints’ (6-3-1) goaltender Abby Slinena (eight saves).

GARDINER 5, ERSKINE 1: Nickyia Lovely scored four goals to lift the host Tigers to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win.

Sarah Morgan had the other goal for Gardiner (9-2). Bryce Smith added two assists while Maddy Beaulieu and Lovely had one each.

Audrey Jordan scored off an assist from Christina Hodgkins for Erskine (3-7).

CONY 10, LEWISTON 0: Delaney Keithley had a hat trick to pace the Rams to the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Haley Ward and Cari Hopkins each scored twice for Cony (8-3) while Abigail Silsby, Kami Lambert and Lindsay Watts had one goal apiece. Jacki Carlton made two saves.

Kaylin Labonte stopped 27 shots for Lewiston (2-9).

GIRLS SOCCER

OAK HILL 3, WISCASSET 1: Halee Lair had a goal and an assist to spark the Raiders to the MVC win in Wales.

Rylea-Mae Swan and Brittaney Marquis also scored for Oak Hill (6-4-0). Kierra Rolston added an assist while Anna Dodge stopped 12 shots in net.

Grace Webber scored off a corner kick for Wiscasset (1-8-0). Lindsey Gordon made 29 saves.

MONMOUTH 7, WINTHROP 0: Sidney Wilson had a hat trick to lift the Mustangs to the MVC win in Winthrop.

Taylor Spadafora added two goals for Monmouth (7-0-1) while Hayley Fletcher and Sarah Scott had one apiece. Mikayla Cameron made five saves.

Shie Smith stopped 26 shots for Winthrop (1-9-0).
