Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Maine team includes former Gov. John Baldacci and many of the state’s most prominent Democrats.

Clinton’s campaign announced on Friday that the group of about three dozen elected officials and community leaders will build the former secretary of state’s volunteer team in advance of Maine’s March 6 caucuses. The team includes Baldacci, who was governor from 2003 to 2011, Attorney General Janet Mills, U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree and Maine House Speaker Mark Eves.

Clinton made an appearance at a middle school in Portland last month.
