Although I’ve been a resident of Maine, living in Waterville’s South End only for about a year, I have fallen in love with the place and the people.

To a large degree, the credit for this goes to Jackie Dupont and other members of South End Neighborhood Association. In particular, Jackie’s enthusiasm and optimism regarding the South End’s potential is deeply contagious. Not only does she live among us, her dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life here has been consistently solid and sincere. I can’t imagine any plans for Ward 7, and the rest of the neighborhood, proceeding without her valuable insights and contribution.

For these reasons, because she has already been so generous with her time, and always treats people (regardless of income, social status, job description, personality, etc.) with dignity and respect, she has my full support in her candidacy for City Council.
