CLINTON, NY — Colby quarterback Gabe Harrington threw for a touchdown and ran for another to lead the Mules to their first win of the season, 24-19, over Hamilton in New England Small College Athletic Conference football action Saturday.

Harrington scored on a 10-yard run and connected with Mark Snyder on a 16-yard touchdown pass for the Mules (1-4). Jabari Hurdle-Price led the Colby ground game with 107 yards on 29 carries while Carl Lipani added 49 yards on 12 carries, including a 7-yard touchdown. John Baron kicked a 34-yard field goal. Steven O’Grady and Patrick Yale led the Mules defensively with six tackles apiece.

Cole Freeman passed for 256 yards and two touchdowns for the Continentals (0-5).

MIDDLEBURY 41, BATES 27: Matt Milano threw for 405 yards and five touchdowns as Middlebury downed Bates in a NESCAC game played in Lewiston.

TRINITY 28, BOWDOIN 7: Max Chipouras rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns as Trinity remained unbeaten in NESCAC play with a win in Hartford, Conn.

Nick Gaynor also rushed for a touchdown for Trinity (5-0). Bryan Porter caught a 37-yard touchdown pass from Noah Nelson for the Polar Bears (1-4).

HUSSON 54, GALLAUDET 8: John Smith rushed for three touchdowns and Joe Seccareccia threw for three to lead Husson to an easy victory in Washington, DC.

Smith ran for 135 yards on 18 carries for the Eagles (5-1). Austin Hudley scored the lone Gallaudet (0-6) touchdown with a 3-yard run.

ENDICOTT 37, MAINE MARITIME 14: Sam Ouellette threw for 245 yards and a touchdown to help Endicott knock off MMA in Beverly, Mass.

Lawrence Gonzalez had a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown for the Gulls (2-4). James Ferrar led the Mariners (1-4) with 144 yards and a touchdown rushing.
