WATERVILLE — Morgan Rielly, author of “Neighborhood Heroes,” and other presenters will share memories of WWII and other wars. The event is set for noon-3 p.m. Nov. 14, in the Large Print Room of the Waterville Public Library.

A retired female Air Force Captain who’s father is a WWII veteran will speak at the event; she will bring her father’s uniform and a few other artifacts. Pearley Lachance will also share his story. At the age of nine, LaChance started writing a World War II serviceman. This has led to a lifelong journey of note books, newspaper articles, and individual information of 1,000’s of Mainer’s who served in World War II.

Members of the community are invited to attend and share their stories as well. Refreshments provided after testimonials.
