AUGUSTA — The Augusta Nature Club will hold its regular luncheon meeting Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Capital Area Technical Center, 40 Pierce Drive.

Lunch will be served at noon, RSVP is required, and will cost $6. A brief business meeting will follow.

Bob Marvinney, Ph.D., Maine State Geologist, will give a talk about “Rocks and Minerals and Gems of Maine.” It will include a brief history of 700 million years of Earth time as recorded in Maine’s rocks and minerals.
