I like to think that I’m a pretty open-minded person. But the current news about taking in more unvetted and potential “sleeper terrorist” refugees, regardless of from where they originated, rankles me to no end.

When we can’t even take care of the people who are already here, why would we want to take in more? Especially when there are millions of American citizens who are homeless, such as children, and veterans who fought for this country’s’ freedoms. Why, in the world, would we embrace taking in people who have no desire to be American, will never wear a uniform in defense of this country, or contribute anything to enhance this country?

Yet we give them priority in housing, medical attention, education, food and other commodities we deny American citizens. Instead, as we are constantly being asked to do more with less, the wanton introduction of immigrants are a further drain on strained budgets nationwide.

These same immigrants also have the expectation that Americans must change to accommodate their religions and political beliefs, without question. I consider this to be blatant injustice. Stop the unchecked flow, deport illegal immigrants and shut down the borders until we can get what is currently here under some modicum of control.

Much of what is happening here anyway, in regards to immigration policy, is just a grab for votes from politicos.
