FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will present an evening of legislative updates for businesses and community members on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at the Mt. Blue Campus Forum, 129 Seamon Road. Networking and appetizers are set for 6:30-7 p.m. followed by a legislative forum from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce invited state legislators to discuss topics including: minimum wage, Land for Maine’s Future and MaineCare Expansion.

Featured speakers will include Sen. Tom Saviello, R-Wilton; Rep. Russell Black, R-Wilton, and Rep. Thomas Skofield, R-Weld. Rep. Andrew Buckland, R-Farmington, and Rep. Paul Gilbert, D-Jay, are unable to attend but will submit responses to the highlighted topics. This panel of elected officials will be prepared to answer the important questions that matter to local businesses.

Guests will have the opportunity to submit questions upon arrival while networking. The questions will be grouped into like topics, so the panel will have the chance to address as many issues as possible. Each legislator will be given the opportunity to answer all questions.

Paul Mills, Esquire, will moderate the event and present the questions.
