The other day I was at a car wash in Waterville. The man in the black truck in front of me was talking to the attendant and paying for his wash. I noticed the gold wash sign flash in front of me indicating he was about to have a $16 wash done to his truck. As I drove into the wash for my turn, the attendant told me that the man in the black truck had paid for me to have a golden car wash.

I was totally shocked by his generous deed. As we were proceeding through the wash, I was hoping he would stop at the end of the wash so I could thank him, but as he exited all I could do was watch him drive away.

I would like to thank this generous man for reminding me what the Christmas holiday season is all about. And yes, I will pay it forward.
