WATERVILLE — Jordan Jabar scored a game-high 16 points to lead Waterville past Medomak Valley 40-21 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball game Saturday.

Fotini Shanos added 11 points for Waterville (2-6).

Medomak Valley (4-4) was led by Justice Barrows with eight points.

WINSLOW 55, MOUNT VIEW 18: Heather Kervin scored 14 points to spark the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Thorndike.

Maddy Roy chipped in 10 points for Winslow (7-1) while Paige Trask and Ciara LeClair added nine points apiece.

Mount View (1-6) was led by Jenny Nadeau with eight points.

MESSALONSKEE 62, OCEANSIDE 45: Sophie Holmes scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Rockland.

Ally Turner added 16 points for Messalonskee (7-1).

Alexa Mazurek led the way for Oceanside (3-4) with 11 points.

MADISON 50, LISBON 31: Kayla Bess scored 12 points to lead the Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Lisbon.

Sydney LeBlanc added nine points for Madison (7-2).

Valerie Doucette scored seven points to lead Lisbon (4-5).

FOREST HILLS 42, VALLEY 31: Caitlin Logston scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Tigers to the win in Jackman.

Linda Riley added seven points for Forest Hills (5-3).

Haven Mayhew and Samantha West led Valley (3-5) with eight points each.

LAWRENCE 64, CONY 30: Nia Irving dominated with 26 points and 24 rebounds as Lawrence cruised to a KVAC win over Cony in Fairfield.

Domi Lewis added 15 points and six assists for the Bulldogs (8-0). Autumn Sudsbury had eight points to lead the Rams (2-5).

RANGELEY 84, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 2: Blayke Morin scored 19 points to lead the host Lakers to the win.

Natasha Haley and Amelia McMillan added 16 apiece for Rangeley (7-1).

Kaylee Downs scored two points for Seacoast Christian (0-6).

MT. ABRAM 46, WINTHROP 34: Alora Ross scored 12 points to lead the Roadrunners to the MVC win in Salem Township.

Summer Ross added 11 points for Mt. Abram (2-7).

Winthrop (0-8) was led by Adlin Chaparin with a game-high 14 points and Katie Perkins with eight.


MESSALONSKEE 60, OCEANSIDE 43: The Eagles outscored the Mariners 29-15 in the final quarter to earn the KVAC A win in Oakland.

James Lathrop had 19 points and eight rebounds for Messalonskee (5-3) while Sawyer Michaud added 14 points and four assists.

Oceanside (6-1) was led by Keenan Hendricks with 13 points.

VALLEY 91, FOREST HILLS 52: Junior Austin Cates scored 18 of his 20 points in the first half to spark the Cavaliers to the East/West Conference win in Jackman.

Cody Laweryson added 17 points for Valley (8-0) while Collin Miller chipped in 10.

Aaron Moffitt scored 22 points to lead Forest Hills (4-4) while Brandon Gilboe and Jacob Rivas added nine apiece.

MADISON 50, LISBON 40: Ty Green scored 15 points to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Lisbon.

Chris Beaman added 11 points for Madison (7-2) while Mitch Jarvais chipped in 10.

Lisbon (4-5) was led by Tyrese Joseph with 12 points.

WINSLOW 54, MOUNT VIEW 42: Spencer Miranda scored 12 points to lead the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Winslow.

Dylan Hutchinson and Jack Morneault added nine points apiece for Winslow (6-2).

Joey Danna scored 10 points to lead Mount View (3-4) while Mikey Hustus chippid in eight.

GARDINER 52, NOKOMIS 35: Jordan Lamb tallied 26 points and 21 rebounds to lead Gardiner to a KVAC win over Nokomis in Gardiner.

Brian Dunn added eight points for the Tigers (4-3). Zach Hartsgrove poured in 15 points to lead the Warriors (2-6).

SEACOAST 58, RANGELEY 43: Tim Yeaton scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Guardians to the win in Rangeley.

Caleb LaCroix added 10 points for Seacoast Christian (3-2).

Carl Trafton scored 14 points and Kyle LaRochelle added 12 to lead the Lakers (3-5).

WINTHROP 76, MT. ABRAM 42: Jacob Hickey scored 22 points, including four 3-pointers, to spark the Ramblers to the MVC win in Salem Township.

Anthony Owens added 14 points for Winthrop (7-1) while Garrett Tsouprake had 11.

Mt. Abram (1-8) was led by Danny Luce with 13 points.


WATERVILLE 5, BREWER 2: Waterville scored four times on the power play to upend Winslow in a Class B North matchup at Alfond Rink.

Nick Denis tallied two goals, including the only non-power play goal, and two assists to lead the Purple Panthers (6-0-1). Matt Jolicoeur, Justin Wentworth and Cody Pellerin also found the back of the net for Waterville, while Michael Oliveira dished out three assists. Nathan Pinnette made 22 saves.

Zach Duncan scored a short-handed goal for Brewer (1-6) while Tyler Friel made 33 stops in net.
