WATERVILLE — The Temple Academy girls basketball team used a strong second half to sink Kents Hill 48-36 Tuesday afternoon.
Kiara Carr finished with 20 points for Temple (7-3), which trailed 18-16 at halftime. Deleyni Carr and Salem Heinrich added 14 and 12 points, respectively, in the win.
Catherine Sanborn led all scorers with 26 points for Kents Hill (2-3).
BOYS BASKETBALL
HALL-DALE 69, MONMOUTH 54: A strong second half allowed the Bulldogs to surge past the Mustangs for a Mountain Valley Conference win at Penny Memorial Gymnasium.
Jett Boyer led the way with 16 points for Hall-Dale (10-5), which led by just four points at halftime. Josh Berberich added 14 points and eight rebounds in the win, while Alec Byron and Tyler Nadeau finished with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Hunter Richardson had 15 points for Monmouth (10-5), while Nick Sanborn added 14 and Luke Thombs poured in 10.
RICHMOND 68, RANGELEY 50: Zach Small scored a game-high 26 points and Tyler Soucy and Matt Holt each added 12 to lead the host Bobcats in an East/West Conference game.
Richmond improved to 5-8.
Ricky Thompson scored 17 points to lead Rangeley (6-3).

MEN’S BASKETBALL
COLBY 80, MAINE MARITIME 65: Ryan Jann scored 23 points and Luke Westman added 13 to lead the Mules. Sam Willson scored 10 points for Colby (11-4) as well.
Dylan Stevens scored 15 points and Dylan price had eight for MMA (3-11).
