FARMINGTON — No one was seriously injured when a pickup truck slid into a ditch Wednesday on Route 133 in Farmington after it struck a snowbank.

Bradley Scott, 25, of Livermore, was driving the truck north at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday on Route 133, Livermore Falls Road, when it struck a snowbank and slid into a ditch, Farmington Police Department secretary Bonnie Pomeroy said.

Scott then tried to steer the 2000 Ford Ranger back onto the road, but he couldn’t because of a snowdrift on the road. Pomerory said the accident occurred at the top of a hill on Route 133, where snowdrift is often heavy.

Scott was uninjured, but his female passenger reported overall soreness. NorthStar EMS went to the accident scene, but Pomeroy said she did not know if the passenger was treated there by NorthStar emergency medical technicians or if she was taken to the hospital.

Farmington police Officer Ryan Rosie went to the accident scene, along with Farmington Fire and Rescue.
