FARMINGDALE — Haley West and Sidney Wilson scored nine points apiece and Monmouth rallied from a six-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter to edge Hall-Dale, 39-37, in a Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball contest Tuesday night.

Hannah Anderson added seven points for the Mustangs (13-2).

Dani Sweet led the Bulldogs (6-9) with 14 points while Kayla Johnson added nine points and nine rebounds.

RICHMOND 60, NYA 28: Sydney Tilton had 17 ponts, nine rebounds and four steals to lift the Bobcats to the win in North Yarmouth.

Ashley Abbott added 11 points for Richmond (13-2) while Mackenzie Abbott chipped in with 10.

NYA (1-14) was led by Maggie Larson with 12 points and Sydney Plummer with 12.

BRUNSWICK 55, CONY 40: Charlotte MacMillan scored 17 points to spark the host Dragons to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win.

Adrianna White added 14 points for Brunswick (10-5).

Haley Ward led Cony (2-13) with 11 points, including three 3-pointers.

MADISON 48, WINTHROP 31: Kayla Bess scored 19 points to go along with seven rebounds as the Bulldogs prevailed in an MVC game in Madison.

Madeline Wood scored 12 points and Lauren Hay added nine for Madison (10-5) as well. Emily Oliver and Erin Whalen each pulled down six rebounds.

Bri McClure scored 10 points to pace the Ramblers (2-13).

BOYS BASKETBALL

BRUNSWICK 59, CONY 39: The Dragons held the Rams without a point in the second quarter on their way to the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Caleb Cost scored a game-high 23 points to lead Brunswick (10-5) while Thomas Hanson added 14.

Cony (5-10) was led by TJ Cusick with 11 points while Matt Murray and Nijual Davis scored eight points apiece.

MARANACOOK 91, BELFAST 62: Kyle Wilbur scored 27 points and Kent Mohlar added 17 to lead the Black Bears in Readfield. Mohlar also had seven rebounds. Silas Mohlar scored 11 points while Ty Smith and Austin Vining each had 10 for Maranacook (13-2).

Nolan Woods scored 11 points to lead the Lions (6-7).

ERSKINE 58, MORSE 48: Noah Bonsant had 11 points and 11 rebounds to pace the Eagles to the KVAC A win in South China.

Josh Reed added 18 points for Erskine (4-10) while Matt Clary chipped in 11.

Morse (4-10) was led by Keegan McDonough with a game-high 20 points.

HAMPDEN 70, GARDINER 48: Nick Gilpin scored a game-high 20 points to pace the host Broncos to the KVAC A win.

Ian McIntyre added 13 points for Hampden (15-0).

Jordan Lamb had 16 points and nine rebounds for Gardiner (7-8) while Brian Dunn added nine points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

MESSALONSKEE 59, NOKOMIS 45: The Eagles jumped out to a 24-15 halftime lead and never looked back on their way to the KVAC win in Newport.

Nathan Violette had 16 points and three steals for Messalonskee (10-5) while James Lathrop added 10 points and Sawyer Michaud chipped in with four points, eight assists and three steals.

Nokomis (3-11) was led by Brad Allen with 13 points and Zach Hartsgrove with 10.
