A teenager was killed in Alfred on Thursday night when the car he was driving left Gore Road and hit a tree.
Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine State Police, identified the victim as Isaiah Fajardo, 19, of Alfred.
Fajardo was driving north on Gore Road when his vehicle left the road, hit a tree and caught fire. The car was engulfed in flames.
McCausland said Fajardo lived about a mile from the crash site. The accident was reported just before 8 p.m.
