A three-day snowshoe adventure for children 5-10 years old is set for 9:30 a.m.-noon Feb. 16-18. With the guidance of experienced teachers, participants can explore the Born Learning Trail and Joe Clark Trail.
The event is offered by Central Lincoln County YMCA in Damariscotta, along with Hidden Valley Nature Center in Jefferson.
Day one will be at the YMCA, while days two and three will be at the nature center. Transportation will be provided from the YMCA, and snowshoes will be made available for participants.
