The Belgrade Public Library will host Candidates’ Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at 124 Depot Road in Belgrade.
There are currently two three-year positions on the select board available with three interested persons, they are: Rick Damren, Ernie Rice and Ernst Merckens. There is also one two-year position available on the select board with two interested persons, they are: Cheryl Cook and Jason Carey.
In addition to the select board positions there is one one-year position available as road commissioner with two interested persons, they are: Maurice Childs and Kevin Hawes, and one three-year position available on the Regional School Unit 18 school board with one person interested, Rebecca Seel. Unfortunately, Seel is unable to attend the event but will have informational handouts available.
Jay Bradshaw will moderate for the evening and light refreshments will be served. Questions for the candidates are welcome.
