SKOWHEGAN — The American Cancer Society will hold a Road to Recovery training for volunteer drivers from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Redington-Fairview General Hospital, 46 Fairview Ave.
Drivers use their own vehicle to drive patients to and from treatments. The schedule for volunteers is flexible and treatment appointments take place weekdays, primarily during business hours.
If you or someone you know has a reliable vehicle, current Maine driver’s license, and are insured, contact Elisa Madore at 462-6307 or Elisa.Madore@cancer.org to sign up for the upcoming training class.
