Cedar Ridge Center in Skowhegan celebrated Valentines with a week of malt shakes, burgers, hot dogs, poodle skirts, greasers and Don Boudreau, an Elvis Presley impersonator.

The One Stop Malt Shop, was open Monday through Friday allowing each of the five units to have a day of dining experience like that of the 1950s. The activity staff built a life-sized malt bar complete with 50’s decor and a juke box that was donated for use by Lyons Appliance in Skowhegan.

Boudreau, “Elvis” put on a show and passed out red silk scarves and photos to residents after his performance.
